I've been in JAWS since camp in Oregon, maybe a dozen years ago (?), recruited by Susy Schultz. I'm now the part-time managing editor of The Monkey Cage at the Post, where I am in wonky bliss, frolicking in social science. I had to set aside my research on family & sexual violence, and would love any thoughts on placing stories from the research I accumulated. I adore my 12 year old even more now with shared custody--still getting used to that. I'm still opining rampantly, about everything from Boston's winter (NYT) to the Boston marathon bombing trial (Vice) and a piece scheduled for the Post this weekend about the history of the L/G rights movement. I'm thinking that maybe I should leave journalism for policy analysis, since I'm so nerdy by nature. Or maybe learn radio and podcasting? Come talk to me.

See you all soon!
