Become inspired to create compelling, beautiful data-driven stories in this session centered on public information and data visualization. Kathy Kiely of the Sunlight Foundation will show you how to put important government data at your fingertips using tools such as Open States, Political Party Time and Follow the Unlimited Money. Find out from The New York Times’ Hannah Fairfield how you and your team can win awards by turning piles of numbers into eyegrabbing images. An expert from Tableau software will demonstrate a robust tool for data visualization.
