Freelance Journalist, Editor and Writer
Delft, the Netherlands
I work as a freelance journalist in the Netherlands, where I have lived for the past five years. I write for several English language publications in the area, including The International Correspondent magazine, where I spent a year as deputy editor before shifting my focus back to writing and reporting.

I'm passionate about people and their stories. As a journalist and writer, I aim to find out what's hidden, just below the surface or unexpected, and to write about (and bring attention to) those particular slices of humanity.

A laundry list of what interests me: politics (particularly reproductive politics), cross-cultural issues, language, running and outdoor activities. I'm also drawn to topics related to spirituality & religion, including end-of-life and grief.
