Lisa Gosselin

A veteran editor and journalist, Lisa Gosselin has spent most of her career finding ways to change behavior through compelling, informative storytelling across multiple platforms.

As editorial director, she helped EatingWell Media Group grow from an independent magazine with 200,000 circulation into one of the leading food and health publishing companies with a circulation of 750,000 and an online viewership of more than 5 million uniques a month. Under her seven-year leadership, EatingWell won numerous awards for journalism, including, in 2013 the award for best service article by the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the James Beard Award for Reporting on Health and Nutrition and the Bert Greene Award from the International Society of Culinary Professionals for “Food Writing that Makes a Difference.”

Lisa has also been the editor in chief of Islands, Audubon and Bicycling Magazines and has written for numerous publications ranging from Men’s Journal, to Town & Country to Newsweek.

In July 2013, Governor Shumlin appointed Lisa Gosselin Commissioner of Vermont’s Department of Economic Development. She lives in Middlebury, Vermont with her husband, Angelo Lynn, editor/publisher of the Addison Independent, and all three of their daughters are leading local newspapers as well.
