I am a former JAWS president and this organization has been been crucial to building my career and my self-confidence. I grew up in Iowa, lived and worked in Milwaukee, San Antonio, New Orleans and now Albuquerque. I must be here to stay because I bought a house last year and became a grownup. After spending most of my career in business journalism (print), with some side avenues into public radio in my spare time, I am now mostly in television as a producer and host on New Mexico PBS. I’m shifting back to half time as I move to different show and I am actively hunting for freelance in radio and writing! I wasn’t able to attend CAMP last year because my mom was hospitalized, so I’m so glad to be back this year. And at 2012 CAMP, I gave you all a preview of my follow-up to my TED.com talk that I was prepping for TEDxABQ Women. So I wanted to share the finished product – Getting The Rest of the Story.
