Meg Heckman is a lecturer at the University of New Hampshire, teaching classes on reporting, editing, digital storytelling and media entrepreneurship. Her work has appeared in The Columbia Journalism Review, The Boston Globe, Editor & Publisher, USA Today and other publications. She contributed chapters to “A Practical Guide to Digital Journalism Ethics” and, along with Mike Pride, co-authored “We Went to War: New Hampshire Remembers.” She loves to tell great stories of all shapes and sizes, but her favorite topics are gender, politics and technology. She's a past president of the New Hampshire Press Association, has served twice as a Pulitzer juror and is the New England regional captain for JAWS. Meg holds a B.A. in English from UNH and an M.A. in journalism from Northeastern University.
