Peggy Sands Orchowski hails from Santa Barbara, California living in Washington DC for almost 20 years now. She is a credentialed congressional journalist specializing in issues relating to higher education and immigration. She is the DC Correspondent for the national magazine, Hispanic Outlook for Higher Education. Her book, Immigration and the American Dream has been recommended as a MUST READ for those who want a reporter’s take on this emotional subject. She has spoken to over 40 groups in 20 different states as well as on television and radio programs internationally. She speaks four languages and plays tennis and the violin for fun!
