Jane P. Marshall

Jane P. Marshall, food journalist and food historian, teaches food writing and food history at Kansas State University where she is also communications coordinator for the College of Human Ecology. A newspaper journalist for more than 25 years, she was features editor at major metropolitan papers in Houston, Fort Worth and Denver. She researched and wrote “Teatime to Tailgates: 150 Years at the K-State Table” which was published in September.  The book chronicles K-State’s food heritage on campus, in the community and around the globe. Jane was the first president of JAWS, has been married to the same man (retired newspaperman) for 42 years and has two daughters, a dog, a rabbit, a farm, a good pair of binoculars and a pretty great life.
