Laura Amico is the creator of Homicide Watch, an online journalism organization that uses original reporting, primary source documents and social media to build a live public and comprehensive resource on violent crime. Amico was a 2011 MJ Bear Fellow (ONA) and a Knight News Entrepreneur Boot Camp alum.
